920 ACTIVE WOMEN (SHG Members) are undergoing 5 days (Class Room) training on the Objectives and Component of ASRLM and its benefits for rural masses. They are oriented on SHG Management, women empowerment through collective Social Action and adherence of “Panchasutra” by SHGs under the ASRLM fold. The trainings are organized in 14 Intensive Districts of ASRLM in a Zonal  approach. The 5 days training will be followed by 10 days field level training which would enable them to understand the socio economic conditions of the village, identify the poor households, understand the social issues of the village and aware them about poverty issues and role of women in poverty reduction. This training will empower them to communicate with the society on how SHG concept can make remarkable achievements towards women empowerment and play an active role in combating poverty.

After evaluation these Active Women will registered as Community Resource Persons (CRPs) under ASRLM
